Dr Caroline BoshellDr Caroline Boshell

MBChB MRCGP

Dr Caroline Boshell studied medicine as a graduate in Leeds having already completed a degree in Medical Microbiology. She joined the practice in 2008 following completion of her GP training in Nottingham. Alongside Dr Dhamrait, she is one of the GP trainers in the practice. She has previously worked as the Macmillan GP facilitator for end of life care for the Southern Derbyshire ICB and has worked for the contraception and sexual health service in Derby until the end of 2013. Her special interests include palliative and end of life care, collaborative work with care homes, contraception and sexual health and GP training.

Dr Andrew KitchenDr Andrew Kitchen

Dr Andrew Kitchen joined the practice in January 2017.

Dr Harkesh ChahalDr Harkesh Chahal

MBChB MRCGP DRCOG

Dr Harkesh Chahal qualified in 2009 and completed her GP training in Derby in 2014. She joined the practice in March 2017. In her spare time she enjoys travelling, walking and reading.

Dr Lakhvinder DhamraitDr Lakhvinder Dhamrait

Dr Lakhvinder Dhamrait is a GP partner with an MBBS from Hull York Medical School and a BSc (Hons) in Anatomy, Developmental and Human Biology from Kings College, London. An MRCGP member and obtained a PGCert in Medical Education in 2020 and joined the Practice that same year. He teaches and trains GP registrars and has a special interest in lifestyle and preventive medicine, including fitness. He is currently training as a personal trainer to further support patient health and is the PCN representative on the Local Medical Committee.

Dr Shaanjan IslamDr Shaanjan Islam

MBBcH MRCGP 

Dr Shaanjan Islam obtained his medical degree from Cardiff University and completed his General Practice training in Derby in 2021. He has a strong commitment to clinical excellence, patient safety, and continuous quality improvement.

Dr Islam holds the role of Prescribing Lead within the practice. In this capacity, he is responsible for overseeing safe, evidence-based prescribing, ensuring robust governance frameworks, leading audit activity, and supporting compliance with national standards and regulatory requirements. He works closely with the multidisciplinary team to drive service improvement and uphold high standards of care.

Outside his clinical responsibilities, Dr Islam maintains a keen interest in watching mixed martial arts and enjoys listening to electronic music in his free time.

Dr Siri PotluriDr Siri Potluri

MBBCh

Dr. Siri Potluri completed her medical degree at Cardiff University in 2018 and qualified as a GP in 2023 following her training in Nottingham. She enjoys teaching and regularly supervises medical students during their placements at the practice. She has a particular interest in women’s health and is currently developing her procedural skills, including the fitting of contraceptive coils and implants. Outside of work, she is a keen dancer and has a strong interest in health and wellbeing. She also enjoys spending time with her family.

Dr Ruchi AhluwaliaDr Ruchi Ahluwalia

Dr Ruchi Ahluwalia studied medicine at the University of Birmingham, achieving her MBChB in 2016, and completed her GP training in Derby. She joined Park Farm Medical Centre in 2025 and is also a GP trainer, supporting the development of resident doctors. Dr Ahluwalia has a keen interest in lifestyle medicine, disease prevention, and weight management and is pursuing further education in these areas to enhance patient care. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and young children.

Dr Atta UllahDr Atta Ullah

Dr Ullah qualified in Pakistan, in 2014, then did his GP training in Yorkshire in 2025. He joined the Practice in October 2025. His interest areas are teaching students and dermatology. In his free time he enjoys watching football, travelling and spending time with family.
